Clinique de Montchoisi’s Institute of Radiology, totally renovated in 2010, is composed of a group of 5 radiologists, 6 medical radiology technicians and 4 medical secretaries. All our radiologists carry out both diagnostic and interventional procedures, each having their specific area of specialty.
Controls and Check-ups
We are approved by the Cantonal Breast Cancer Foundation for breast cancer screening and collaborate with the Genolier Clinic Breast Centre which has been certified for three years by the Swiss Cancer League and the Swiss Senology Society.
We collaborate with, and carry out procedures for the Neurocentre of Clinique de Montchoisi and Clinique Valmont (Professor Bogousslavsky). All our examinations are outpatient procedures but if necessary, a brief hospital stay can be organized.
A leading institute
The radiology institute is ready to welcome you with a team of radiologists who offer high-quality services and skills in the most specialised imaging fields: neuroradiology, ENT radiology, female imaging, and thoracoabdominal, urologic, osteoarticular, vascular and interventional radiology.
Outpatient services are available to all patients, regardless of their insurance cover. They are subject to the same Tarmed tariffs as public institutions.
Radiologists are qualified to assess how useful the prescribed examinations will be in making the diagnosis your doctor is looking for. Indications are readily discussed with prescribing doctors in order to carry out the most suitable investigation for the situation, avoiding unnecessary examinations or too much radiation.
Those cases that require a multidisciplinary approach to define their treatment – senology (Centre du Sein – breast centre) and gynaecology, pulmonology, urology, oncology, and neurology (Neurocentre) – are discussed during set multidisciplinary meetings, which are organised at our institutes.
- optimal and attentive care, taking into account the individual patient, from their registration to their departure;
- close collaboration among specialists and also with prescribing colleagues;
- performance of necessary and suitable examinations in accordance with practice regulations;
- continuous education in all fields in order to update procedures;
- attentive listening, availability and constant attention to quality;
- multilingual medical and paramedical teams (French, English, German, Swiss German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic) to meet the expectations of a cosmopolitan population.
Comprehensive and high-performing technical facilities
The institutes are equipped with state-of-the-art technical facilities:
Your radiology examination may not provide all the necessary answers.
It is very important that you answer any questions you may be asked about the state of your health, as well as any medications you are taking (written list of medications), as thoroughly as possible. Some treatments may indeed need to be altered or interrupted for some radiological examinations.
Personalised and attentive care:
Just like our clinics, our services place a large emphasis on quality, safety and the establishment of patient trust.
Where possible, we strive to maximise our visitors’ comfort so as to provide them with an experience that meets their expectations.
Below, you can find some useful information on how to proceed.
For all visits, do not forget to bring proof of identity with you, as well as all the documents given to you by your doctor. You will be asked for them on your arrival.
You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire to ensure the safety of your care.
