Former head of university service and ordinary professor of neurology, Professor Bogousslavsky has been since 2007 a visiting professor for the Master of Neuroscience in the University of Franche-Comté. Specialist in neurology, he coordinates the Neurocentre GSMN (Center for Brain and Nervous System Diseases) as a responding doctor and manages neurorehabilitation at the private rehabilitation clinic, Clinique Valmont.
Thanks to his reputation, he won in 2005 the election as General Secretary for the World Federation of Neurology and was able to chair the World Society of Brain Attacks. He is the author of more than 600 scientific papers and about 50 monographs.
Holder of the prestigious Feinberg Award from the American Heart Association, he is also the editor of the scientific journals "European Neurology", "Frontiers in Neurology and Neuscience", and "Case Reports in Neurology". He has specialized in Europe and America in the treatment of stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, migraine, cognitive and memory disorders, as well as nerve, muscle and spinal cord disorders.
